Charge yourself

HOW TO CHARGE YOURSELF?
Do you know what drains our vital energy?
You may feel it's the daily chores, the daily pressures the workload, the deadlines, the misunderstandings with your spouse, the targets, the traffic, the rush, the children, the office and home politics.... No. Though these things do contribute significantly to the brain drain... There is something else.
AND THAT IS THE INCESSANT THINKING IN YOUR HEAD.
Yes thinking consumes the maximum amount of energy.
Researchers say that an average human thinks 60 to 70 thousand thoughts in a day and unfortunately 90% of them are either repetitive or related to the past or the future. Though we live in the present, we are hardly there.
If we can slow down this compulsive chatter of the mind for even a few seconds... The brain gets rest and rejuvenates itself.
But you may ask how to slow down this Monster?
I will show you a very simple thing. If you practice this regularly then you will end up conserving a lot of energy and feel much better and enjoy good physical and mental health.
This is what you should do -
Just sit quietly with your eyes closed... And just ask yourself a question.

The question is - WHERE IS MY NEXT THOUGHT GOING TO COME FROM.

Now don't try to search from where the thought is coming from etc... Just pose the question and sit silently without any expectations. Just observe what is happening.
If you do this simple act, you will experience a gap, a blank state after you ask the question. This could be a small gap... Could be 5 seconds... That's fine. Once you start practicing this often the gap will start increasing.

This gap is the key.

If you can take yourself in this gap... The thinking process will automatically slow down. And if you can slow down this process, then your brain will experience rest. This rest will charge and rejuvenate the entire body mind system.
In this world where Stress is at it's peak and people are running around day in day out... This gap/rest will make wonders.
It's worth trying to be happy & healthy.
