KASHYAPA MUDRA

Kashyapa Mudra balances and protects against negative energies. It symbolises tortoise, union of masculine and feminine and Sage Kashyapa (Hindu mythology). Like tortoise it creates a seal against negative energies. Use it when you find yourself in conflict situation or when among the group of negative people. You can hold this Mudra when visiting places having dark past. Like union of masculine and feminine, this Mudra helps in creating balance and grounding.

The Kashyapa Mudra, when done daily and consistently for as little as 5 to 15 minutes does what it names implies in its translation – which is turtle! The Kashyapa Mudra creates an energetic turtle shell around you in which you can pull yourself into and protect yourself… or stretch out and stroll through the astral. The more you practice it the stronger your shell becomes. What is wonderful about this Mudra, it allows beings who are positive to enter your field (those whose intent is “good”) and it creates a barrier against beings who are negative (those whose intent is nefarious).
